hard top in houston.... who wants it?

I've got a tan hard top from my 1988 Eddie Bauer Bronco. It's in good shape, but I'm moving and have a soft top.

I found someone that wanted it, but they haven't come by to get it. He keeps saying, this weekend, but that all started 2 months ago and I'm tired of it. I need to get rid of it by August 8th. Email me if you are interested.

I live down by NASA in the Clear Lake area.

Sliding side windows were only available until the early 80s, and they're VERY rare. I have 2 sets.

Click my signature and take a look. I put one set in the '96 camper shell I'm using on my truck.

Looks great! Where did you find yours? What year bronco did they come out of? How about the second pair you have are they in good shape?

Junkyards after YEEEEAAAARS of shopping. Then it took a couple more to find a supplier for the felts so I could actually use them. Both sets came from '83 Broncos - one in Little Rock, AR, and another here.

E-mail me for more info - we've hijacked this thread enough!

Just take the glass out entirely.....I have a second top that Strauntonbronco was kind enough to sell to me. No side windows and a couple other modifications that make for a very pleasant breeze through the truck....and my rear shoulder belts still work! When I have the project finished, I'll post more. But I will say this...the rain isn't a problem without the glass in the side windows.

Tinted windows(standard I think), but not sliding. It's in good shape and yes, I just want someone to come get it. I'm going to call salvage yards today to see if they'll pick it up.

I hate to chunk it, but I'm leaving on August 8th and don't have anyone that will come get it. I wish that guy didn't screw me by telling me he wanted it. He actually posted on this site about wanting a hard top and never came and picked it up for 2 months now. So unless someone wants to see a perfectly good hard top go in the garbage they better come get it. It's not worth me moving.

What color is it? I'm working on figuring out 1) where I will store it and 2) can I get down there in time to get it.

It's tan. From an 88 Eddie Bauer. The movers are coming at 1pm and I may just end up taking it with me. It will cost about $60 to move it and I could get another up in Colorado for probably $150. So I may just suck it up and take it in case the soft top craps out on me some day.

Yeah, I'm in Austin at work and I don't think I'll be able to make it there by 1:00...

Good luck with the move. I hate moving.
