9 inch trouble?

Pulled the bed to replace some fuel lines (much easier imho), did a wiggle test on everything else under there. Im no rear end expert but this seems like Ill need to tear into further..yes?
The nut was lose enough to turn with a socket alone. Its not a daily driver but Ive not noticed any noise.
Also guessing there shouldnt be any grooves on that yoke.

I put it back together, cant work on it where its at. As tight as I could get it (for now) took out all the side to side and in/out play (figured it might) but I do have a bit of play in turning.

No noise out of that? Run it!!

I'd be shopping for one. You probably can't do too much more damage to that one unless you side step the clutch at 5000 rpm.

Always nice to have some breathing room. At some point where I know I wont need a truck , I might pull it out and take a look.

85...just going by your choice of words, do you think this one is not rebuildable?

Probably can be rebuilt. You'll know once it comes apart.
