my 1994 7.3 diesel power stroke won't start after diesel filter change
Hi folks,
I changed the diesel filter in my 1994 power stroke 7.3 liters.
My fault was that I did not fill the new filter witrh diesel when I put it into the engine. So even with idling for several minutes and recharging the battery the engine will not fire.
I unscrewed the new filter and checked it for diesel. The filter is full.
I tried to inject diesel into the filter housing via the valve saying "oil". No Diesel going in.
I unplugged all diesel lines to the injectors and idled the engine for 1 minute but there is no diesel coming from the lines
I refited the diesel lines to the injectors.
and now I have no idea what to do next
Is there any trick to get the diesel to the pressure pump / the air out of the diesel pump?
Any valve which has to be unpluged to put diesel in?

First let me say I do not understand how you got it to idle if it will not run.
If you have everything assembled, go find a buddy.
You hold the Schrader valve in while your buddy cranks the engine.
After diesel squirts out of the Schrader valve on you and you let go of the Schrader because you are now wet with diesel, the engine will start running and you will be a happy man again.
