I am no wizard when it comes to angles, but I would think a 2" lift would not cause anything to wear out quicker than normal. Just my 2 cents.

That's what I was thinking. I sent pictures to the kit manufacturer....wait for their reply tomorrow. I can only think that previous owner had a kit installed, the type you need to compress spring for. But I don't have a stock picture to compare to. Do you think it is safe to drive?

That upper control arm is way wacky. It probably can't be aligned.

Glad you finally got some wheels Jim!

I am too. And the car is getting all kinds of compliments. I took it to J's Alarms, who I used extensively when I had my settlement money and was having alarm systems, stereos, and back up cameras installed, and they could not believe how clean the car was for being 20 years old. Then the same thing happened at the Red Carpet car wash. I got one of their express oil changes that includes a car wash, and everyone there was asking me about the car.

I was originally going to get a car cover for it this payday, but after talking to the manager of the apartment complex, and finding out that there have been two car break ins in the past four months, I decided to get the alarm first. I'll get the car cover next payday, along with a set of tires.

Happy two for Tuesday Nor Cal FTE and friends. I'll take two of everything, including winning lotto numbers.

Yes in deed, I am extremely happy with my new car. Now I can't wait to get tires for it, so I can take it on a long trip somewhere. Like maybe a Nor Cal GTG.

I finally got my truck up to my new house on sunday. Been without it almost 2 months. I had my DD but it's just not the same thing as a crew cab 7.3 .

Got that right! I was thinking the other day that instead of an Explorer 4x4, I'll look for a 92-96 F250 4x4 powered by that awesome 7.3. Everyone that has one loves them, so I might as well jump on the bandwagon. LOL

You can't even beat them with a stick. I loved my 6.0l but the 7.3 is worlds easier...

Blatsma, 6.0 has more kick in the pants of the line, don't get me wrong ford is ford but for a few more dollars the 6.0 is very Reliable, end of Occupational hazard statement , well boys the fun in the sun is over, heading back home Saturday , the house is DONE and in Escrow, unless they can't scrounge up enough Bengies , let's hope for a good lending

6.0 is too expensive for me, so I will be looking for a 7.3 when the time comes. That is cool the house is in escrow already. That was quick.

Good Morning NorCal...Congrats on the new wheels Jim. I'm glad it finally came together for you.

Yeah, I love my 7.3...It will be the last truck I buy.

Hope you all have a great day out there.
