Morning.
I like waking up to good news. Congratulations Tom. New F150 looks great. Looking forward to pictures today.
Note: It won't be as much fun picking on the Prius any more.
Really nice looking truck. Best of luck with it.

Good morning everyone!
And thanks John. I was within an inch of getting a Ram instead, but I think I'll be happier with this one.

Pretty sure he mentioned it having the same motor as his previous F150, which was a 3.5 eco

I thought it was an eco boost, wasn't sure though, 5.0 kept popping into my mind for some reason
Congrats on getting the truck to pass as well! I was going to go look at a 2003 supercrew lariat tomorrow with a 5.4 and 118k but it's sold :/

All these pictures are going to get me real jealous and cause me to covet, Tom.
Here's a picture of where I am at.

Looks clean Josiah! Not common to see the cab corners of an older truck still intact.
If you want I can send you the payment book when I get it. Might make you covet just a bit less!

Ha! That would certainly help.
The cab corners look clean, but it is a bit deceiving. They aren't bad, and still seem completely structural, but the rust is definitely starting.

Morning everyone, day off today! Josiah, is that the worst of the rust that you have to deal with?

There's rust bubbling up quite a few places, but you have to look close to see most of it.

Knock it out quick! Glad it's not overwhelming, rust repair isn't much fun!

The passenger side rear wheel well is the only through rot on the truck from what I can tell.
I was hoping to power wash the frame today to get a bunch of the hard to reach scale off the frame, but the pressure washer I borrowed from my sister in law has a broken pump it seems. Water goes in but doesn't come out.

I may just take you up on that. Too bad my truck doesn't have a bed on it anymore, haha. Probably won't fit in the fusion or*crv.
