Next on the list is registration. I'm waiting on the bed hardware and tailgate cables to arrive. Should be here by next Tuesday and then the bed can go on. I'd like to do much more while the bed is off, but we just don't have the money right now. Before too long I have a lower ball joint that is going to need attention. It's leaking all over.

John, I'm curious to find out myself, I'm still at 3/4 of a tank, my car is still getting the majority of the driving duties, I'll post up when I find out! But so far that 1/4 tank has got me from coventry, RI back home to east lyme, then to old saybrook dmv and back, then back to old saybrook dmv and back home again.

That actually sounds like it's getting good mileage. I didn't realize that you are from that area of the state. I used to work for the Lee co. in Westbrook, living in Newington was a haul every day. I had the 2002 F350 7.3 and put many miles going back and forth.

Morning

It's Saturday morning and there is a frost out there. Took the dogs out at 5 and it was cold, maybe I should have worn a shirt.

The weekend is here, and I get to go to the dump. (it's the only time our dump is open)

My puppy is two today.

Have a happy Halloween.

Pretty nice day today. I have far too many trees. Ended up doing lots of yard work today. I was able to mix in a little truck work. Sanded, prepped and painted the door sills and touched up the cab corners just so they look a little better. This evening I'm going to try to paint the rear bumper with some bed coating so that doesn't look as terrible as well. After that, I'm sure I'll come up with something, but the bed will be going on next week hopefully.

Evening guys, happy halloween! John, we had a good bit of frost our way too, got a friendly reminder of it at work as well. Besides the planks and scaffolding being a bit slippery, I had just finished building our scaffolding tower and had gone out onto the roof and was setting up another platform and started sliding down the roof, luckily it was only for a few feet but it sure did wake me up!

I actually have tomorrow off, pretty stoked about that! I ordered KYB pre assembled struts from rock auto for my mothers Taurus and will start putting them in tomorrow, they were only 20 dollars more total than ordering each piece individually (excluding springs). So she gets new springs, new struts, new strut plates and bearings and i don't have to mess around with compressing the springs and taking each piece off and putting it all back together, should save a lot of time. I think I'll be going this route from now on when I do struts, you can't beat it.

I also ordered front pads and rotors for my escort, have to disconnect the sun roof switch in my dad's milan, and do a little bit of electrical work on my sister's escape. Tomorrow is going to be a car clinic here at my house.

Hope you all enjoy your evening!

Good afternoon everyone.

Good call on the pre-assembled struts Kyle. I've had a couple of near misses with spring compressors, and after the last one I resolved to never do that again. I don't do enough of them to buy one of the nice wall-mounted professional compressors, so I'll just spend a bit more and get the pre-assembled units in the future.
