Afternoon, everyone. Micah, how did "Opening Day" go for you? I begin my midterm exam for Health Law & Ethics today. I have until the 18th to complete it, and my Disability Resource Center meeting was canceled at the last minute, so I wasted the entire morning commuting and waiting for a meeting I didn't know was canceled.

I need to spread some Dicor on my trailer roof, too. I'll do that shortly. I've had the tube inside warming up to help it spread easier.

Morning all. Just a quick pop in today.

Well opening day I shot at a 5x5 bull and he ran about a 100 yards away from my brother and he shot at him twice. We both had very supportive shooting positions and are both good shots. We looked up until a couple hours after dark, and again the next day for 6 hours. No idea what happened but we cannot find him.

Anyways we are still hunting and hoping to get another chance on a bull

Man, that sucks, Micah! Been there, though. And it never fails, the damn things run the opposite direction you want them too. Good luck bud!

That is the first time I have ever had an elk take more than 4 steps after a shot.

Heading back out this morning

Morning Dood! I've had a couple run on me. Usually, if I'm on a ridge, they run down. Or, if I'm in a canyon, they run up. And always the opposite direction from camp!

I've had one step towards me before after I shot. None have ever made it far though. Brrrr it was cold out there this morning!
