Hi Everyone,

I am wanting to do an install similar to SpringerPop's disable system but I can't seem to get the link to work at all. I did have it saved on my laptop but unfortunately I had a virus and ended up losing a years worth of info and photos.
Does anyone have a copy of this or know how to do this homemade disable system?

Marv had problems with the hosting site. He's trying to get stuff in order and find a new site host, but it's taking longer than he expected.

What ? Never even heard of such a thing. What's it's purpose.

 

The purpose of this device is to not allow it your vehicle to fire up when theives are attempting to steal it. It looks like it would take a full afternoon to install though but I think it would be well worth it considering the amount of work some of us have put into our vehicles.
I will keep an eye for when the website is back up and running as this is something I would like to do before the end of the year.

I have had at least one person report that it kept his truck in the driveway, albeit with a damaged door and ignition switch, but it didn't go away.

It's not an easy project, but it can be broken down into several smaller things that all come together at the end.

I estimate that about twenty people have built this, and one of our Brotherhood has built three of them! Another has built two.

I have access to a small amount of space on another web site that I maintain, so I will post the disabler project there and let you know when it's available, and where.
