How's it going Virginian's I figured I would check in to see what's going on in VA. . I had to fix my truck today ordered the part from a Ford dealer listed in the discounts section and saved $65.00 over the local Ford dealers. I found out the hard way , put down the tailgate before you unhitch the 5th wheel.

ouch... least you did it coming off... friend did it backing up to the 5th wheel...

 

I had to replace the black plastic tailgate cap . I only pulled forward enough to clear the hitch I thought wrong .

 

COuld have been worse Tom.

 

that aint bad considering it could have been worse..

 

I drove with it missing for a couple of months because the local Ford dealers wanted $230.00 plus tax for that little piece of plastic . looks great having it back.
