Worst truck ive ever seen

I find it amusing that someone wouldn't consider buying a truck because of the grille. Have you seen the 17 Dodge Ram trucks with the giant "RAM" right in the middle of the grille? I evaluate purchase of my vehicles on many other more important factors than the grille.
From 89' to 06', I got a new F350 every other year. Now I am into my 11th year with this one. Good thing it's a great truck.

It doesn't usually take the aftermarket too long to come out with better looking grilles and headlite options.
Remove some of the ugly badges and decals.
And all trucks look better.
My trucks all get cleaned up aka removal of the ugly stick on decals etc.
They are all getting bumpers and grills to.
The ugliest part of the last gen trucks imo was the platinum trucks tailgate.
What was ford thinking...or drinking to make a tailgate that hideous.

I can't believe guys are getting caught up in the looks of the grill, really?
What I want to know is how long it will last. If I buy one I'm gonna keep it for a long long time, that's the only way it's worth it. What problems will it have in 15 yrs and 200k + miles? How will the transmission hold up? How about rust issues? What about ball joints and steering components? These things have to be more important then the looks of the grill. Now compare those things with a Dodge.
I guess it doesn't hurt that I think it's a beautiful truck.

I think the grille and the headlights look a little strange, but overall it's a nice looking truck. I for one never really liked the looks of the Super Duty, 2011-up being the worst. The '92-'98 F-250's and 350's were very good looking.
Still not sold on the aluminum body, I have a friend with a body shop and he says........

I find it interesting that people think aluminium skins are a new idea or not commonly used.
Because in aviation that is almost all they use be it helicopters or planes.
In boats it is very common. My river boat is aluminum and damn tough.
The skin on my travel trailer is aluminum to.
The eaves trough on my house.
The floor jack in my sjop is even aluminum.
Aluminum is superior to steel in many aspects.
The best part is it does not rust.

Acura
Volvo
Land Rover
Infiniti
Nissan
Plymouth Prowler
Subaru
and of course the exotics like Ferrari, Lotus, Lambo etc.
And not too mention Class 8 OTR truck doors and sleepers etc.
Big time body shops can handle an aluminum truck. The mom n pop and the fly by night shops will have to step up to do repairs of course.
Then again, most shops opt to replace fenders, doors and hoods anyways versus pounding out dents and welding in patches. The bed will take some work, but again I am sure a full re-skin is easier anyways.
