Worst truck ive ever seen

I wanted to purchase too, but then the Ford Super Duty marketing manager, * mentioned the seats are similar to those in the F150, and that's a deal breaker for me! To reduce vehicle weight Ford cut the overall comfort and durability out of the F150 seats. As a reference, there are are entirely too many complaints on the F150 seats on the internet truck forums, for several reasons. IF the seats were really good, cooled exceptionally well and super comfortable there wouldn't be hardly a mention anywhere on those forums.

I would like to know as well. We always liked the seats in the Lariat. The F150 also heat and cool way better than just anoint atclarendon we've owned.

Seats ???
I was in a rental F150 last week. Never even considered the seats, they worked. Seemed to find my bu$$ fine. I was over all impressed with the f150. I loved the way the truck drove and turned and parked.
I like the look of the inside of the new super duty trucks. I want the new tail gate step. I wonder if I can swap it out. If the head lights give out more light that will make me happy. I never like the new design it has to grow on me.

I know of one person that posted about the seats in the XL not being as nice as they once were. But seat comfort is way subjective - some people like them to be super soft and others like them firm. The most comfortable seats I've ever sat on for a long trip were in an old 80's Volvo 240, and they were hard as rocks.
The Platinum model I test drove, the seats were as comfortable as the ones in my X5. My only complaint is that I prefer a stiffer leather than what they used, lol - I expect I'll survive.

Rock hard lumpy. Kinda like sitting on a crappy trailer house couch. Rear seats are even worse.

No surprise to me that most of those who have posted in this thread that like it also drive 150s.....which is fine.
Imo the new 2017 super duties might as well drop the superduty name as they both look like the same stinky pile of junk as the new 2015 f150s.
The badges and graphics look like they were designed by Nintendo.
Won't be long and and we'll be told that a 1.4l 4 cyl with a turbo is some sort of engineering marvel and the 6.2 will be gone.

My seats and driver environment is absolutely fine, in my 2013 Platinum. So was our 2012 FX4s, so was our 2008 King Ranch, so was our 1999 Super Duty and so forth. Even my 1991 Explorer was ok, but my 2004 Explorer was not, so I bought a F150 Lariat instead.
I was speaking to the seats in the high end - luxury 2015 F150's, and what is supposed to be similarly installed in the 2017 Super Dutys.
This forum seems to be ultra sensitive if you say anything about Ford and their vehicles other than they are great, and the best thing since apple pie! Got it.
There are several other forums besides this one which have numerous ongoing complaints about the redesigned seats in 15 F150s! And comfort is like color, everyone has likes and dislikes, and then there are some whom have no choice, have medical issues and require comfortable seats. But the 2015 problems are there and are likely being carried into 2016s, and complaints are very real, and present and out there should you choose to make yourself aware.
In the end, Ford still builds the best trucks!
