Overcharged AC

I overcharged my AC and the next time I started the car it lurched and now won't blow cold air. I believe it is the high pressure release valve. Where is this valve and how do I fix it? Help appreciated. 2011 Ford Edge SEL v6

welcome to FTE.
if the system is truly overcharged, the high pressure switch is probably turned off to protect the system.
to fix it you will need to recover the refrigerant in the system, pull a vacuum, then put the proper charge back in.
