Which way should the grill bar SS kit go on a monkey face, thin edge or ledge on top?

PS... Anyone have a copy of the SS Grill Bar Kit installation Instructions? I'm looking for a copy

 

I think the thin edge goes on the bottom. If no one posts an affirmative answer I'll go out to the garage tomorrow.

I think Bob has it right.

Correct me If I am wrong, but didn't only the '48 have the stainless grille strips? If I recall, the '48 had the strips, and the entire grille insert was painted a cream color. The '49 and '50 had plain bars, and the grille was painted Argent Silver.

 

JD your right but I have read that some of the early '49 had them on them. I'm from the dark side and love the look of them so I'm adding them to mine!
