FordRacing2 is starting off with a positive reputation.
2.3 for 2.3?

Is the 2.3liter four cylinder out of a Ford Mustang LX, interchangeable with e the 2.3 liter four cylinder of a Ford Ranger?

2.3 for 2.3?

We had a 1983 Ford Ranger with a four banger in it. My dad had to replace it so he went to the junk yard and got one from a Mustang. It worked fine and looked pretty much identical. I don't know what year you have but if it's the same year as the vehicle you're gonna take it out of it should be fine. Good luck!
