Hey all, I just got an early 1994 7.3 IDI turbo diesel with a shot motor, I have a 6.9 IDI that was running strong when my dad and I pulled it out of one of our other trucks a few years back. I am thinking of putting the 6.9 in with the turbo for the time being until I do a 12 valve cummins swap anyone have any thoughts on what would be a good path to go? Thanks in advance!!

 

the 6.9 will be a drop in. use the 7.3 glow plug controller.
turn up the fuel a bit to match the turbo, and you really will not notice that much difference between the 6.9 and the 7.3
