What is this??

Just curious what this tube coming from the firewall is for? Seems to be going into the dash, along with some wiring that is not currently being used. The other end is not connected to anything at the moment. My guess is vacuum line, but for what? Thanks.

are you talking about the small plastic line going through the hole near the steering column? that looks like a mechanical oil pressure gauge feed.

The big vacuum line that passes through the firewall just inboard of the throttle cable goes to the brake pedal dump valve for the cruise control vacuum servo.

Yes, I was referring to the vacuum line. I don't have cruise control and the hose is not being used, so I suppose.....I'll cut it! The weight savings should really help my 460's gas mileage, right??
