56 Parking lights and gravel Pan fit.
Does anyone have a fix for the horrible fit of new 56 parking lights to the gravel pan, bought new ones and they are so terrible not sure whether to send them back and re-evaluate using some other type of parking/signal light or try and make them fit. Anyone else experience this problem or am I doing something wrong? Seems like this whole truck build is 2 steps forward and one back.

Are you sure you have 56 parking lights? The 56 bezels are different than the 55. The side that goes to the air deflector is approx. 1 1/2 on the 56, on the 55 it is approx 2 1/2.
I bought a set from a supplier and was told it fit a 55, turns out they fit a 56. I had a good set of bezels for a 55 so I used them and the mounting bracket of the 56 new set. I had to redrill the mounting holes in them to match holes in the lower valance (gravel pan). I don't believe the holes in the valance are correct either but not sure of that. My valance was repop also.

First thing you have to do is mount the parking light base, don't drill any new holes at this point. Check the bezel fit, if the bezel is a 55 it won't even slide in with a 56 grill, this will tell you if you have 55 bezels. Now that you have verified the bezel, go ahead and mount the parking light bases making sure you center to the holes on the valance. Mount the correct bezels and there is a little adjustment in the headlight grill, not much but some.
