No heat...blower runs fine...help!
2006 f-250 6.0 no heat:
Coolant level fine and recently changed a long with thermostat.
Hoses into and from heater core are hot.
A/C is cold, runs on all speeds, and can change vents from defrost/vents/floor.
But, when I change the temp ****, nothing happens. I looked behind the glove box and that white shaft from the actuator to the blend door box is NOT turning.
So, is the actuator defective or is the **** defective? How can I diagnose? Tnx.

I had the blend door motor on my Excursion go bad before the switch. I did a resistance sweep on the switch. Then after it passed pulled the actuator out and turned the ****, nothing happened. Replaced the motor and all was right again. Sorry I can't find the chart I used to test the switch, it was a few years ago

Ergo, I eliminated the ****, and knew it was the actuator. It easily popped out, and new one in, and was less tha. $40US. Very easy repair.
Now, when you guys talk about testing batteries and stuff, I hope I can use my multimeter to ddo the same on my truck.
