I'm afraid I won't making it to Truckstock after all. I just called and canceled my room. I'm a little bummed, I was really looking forward to meeting you guys.
On the bright side, my wife and I will be welcoming our first child a couple months before Truckstock. So I've got that going for me, which is nice.

Trust me, your first child is a much more important event. Congratulations!
Hate to hear you're not gonna make it. I truly believe that is easily the most beautiful state park in this entire region of the country. The bike/walking trail from the lodge to the falls is very nice. The lake is very pretty also.
We're tentatively considering another Truckfest in 2017. A lot will but it's fun to have a bunch of fellow truck nuts visit. Hopefully we'll be able to convince more northern members to show up.
Bob, I would sure try to make your event. Hopefully with a new radiator, my truck would be up for the trip. This is what my truck looks like these days:
Bob, I was half thinking of asking you if I could tag along with you if you were making the trip to Tennessee for Truckstock this Fall. My truck could be ready I think, and I would feel better going on an interstate adventure with someone like you who has done it before and who understands old trucks like ours.
If Germantown 2017 is a go--I should for sure be ready--and after that Tennessee!
