Brake lines

ok, so im going to be changing my brake lines in the rear and to the rear of my X. i ordered the rubber lines. what i would like to know is if anyone has the part number for the steel axle tube line and the line that runs the from from front to back.. i dont know if it matters but when i looked up the left caliper line i had to get it for to 12/20/99

i believe its : 2B523. But its no longer made, so you may have to fab your own.

Copper-nickle is what you want to bend.....by hand. Then rent/buy a double flair tool. I used stainless fitting to go on mine too. Hope things don't ever rust again.

Mine was 3/16 there

If that one is bad, can the others be far behind?????

Come to think about it, I did avoid the two front hard lines, they looked great. The rest were trashed somewhere or another.

1/4 for the long run to the back.

what size tubing? S.S. isnt good?

SS is good, but MUCH harder to bend. Cu Nickle is easy! See above for size.

i just looked up the copper nickle. highly resistant to corrosion in seawater.. which means. ill be good in the winter with all the salt

EGR Brakes

I went here and bought ALL new lines since mine are rusted to hell. Master cylinder to rearend with caliper lines too.

EGR Performance Brakes, brakes for Dodge, Ford, Chevy, GMC, Tahoe, Yukon, Excursion, Dakota, Durango or whatever you drive.

so i got the rubber lines today for the rear axle. problem is. the line i got for the rear left is about 8 inchs longer then what is on the truck... and the other line iv seen online has a different end on it for the hard line...... is there any way i can find the excat build date for my X to help out.. the part i got in is a dorman H620697

and can i just use a rear right one on the left size seeing that they are the same length?

Some versions, I think early, had forward mounted calipers on the driver's side. Probably a kit for that.
