Updated the 410 FE 76 Highboy Lots of Pics

Well after about a month of days and nights spent wrenching on my 76 Highboy in my backyard i finally got everything together.

The truck has been parked going on a year and a half because it had some issues but i didnt have the time or money at the time. I hated to take it off the road because its my baby. First truck i really got serious about working on and led me to this forum and a crazy addiction to Dentsides.

After selling my 89 F250 7.3 IDI i decided to stop piddling around and put some money into my highboy. It had a list of problems

-Bad leak at the china walls front and back of intake
-Old gummed up Holley 4160 that the bowls were warped on
-Brakes needed to be bled a couple times and new master cylinder and booster
-Totally shot exhaust manifolds and pipe
-Bad water pump
-Old 65 amp alternator not up to the task of a Thunderbird fan
-Radiator seriously clogged with calcified deposits and leaking at both necks

And many more small things. I started stockpiling parts one at a time until my girlfriend was tired of boxes of parts everywhere in our room.
Got in order-
-Edelbrock 2105 Permormer Intake Manifold
-New Aluminum Holley 4160 600CFM with a 1-in aluminum spacer from Summit
-New Water Pump and 180 Thermostat
-Thunderbird/MK VII Electric Fan from a JY 94 Thunderbird wired to a toggle switch
-3G Alternator brand new from same Thunderbird
-Set of Sanderson FE427 Headers
-Pertronix Flamethrower Coil
-Champion 3 Core All Aluminum Radiator
-New Starter
-New Raybestos Master Cylinder
-New Vacuum, Radiator, PCV, HEATER/ By-Pass, and Fuel Hoses
-Air, Oil, Fuel, and PCV Filters
-And Mostly All New Hardware

Its all back together and i am pretty happy with it but i still need to do some tuning and i think i need to re-time it. Should be on the road very soon.

Looking good. Just bought a 79 sitting on a 76 highboy frame. It needs to be completely put back together. Gonna start with the motor and try to find a divorced transfer case and 435 4 speed.
