My 2016 F350 tracks straight, and handles well for a 1 ton pickup.
Its no Mustang, but for a Heavy Duty pickup truck its handling impresses me.

I know THAT dash light comes on when you shut it off, but I read a post here a while back, and someone made it sound like there was a separate light that came on when you lost traction, and traction control kicked in. oh well, I guess not.

All i know is that it will dial the power back to nothing.
The go pedal to the mat and swore it stalled.
So annoying i just turn it off in any vehicle of mine now before i even put it in gear.
If i didn't want more power i would just ease up on my right foot.
My Mustang was the worst, cannot even mildly drift turn it with power if its not turned off.
Leaving it on makes it pointless to own a V8.
I could have just bought the tiny 4 banger mustang.

There is a little traction control light that comes on when it activates. If you just drive with the traction control on(no light) and then mat it in a spot situation where it'll brake loose a little traction control lights up as it downgrades power. My truck tuned and exhaust work 6.2 will spin up my 295/60/20's quite easily if you're getting on it.

Oh, so there is a secondary light for TC, cool. So, if that secondary light doesn't come on for a second during a slip or whatever, then the TC isn't doing anything?

I wouldn't know for certain but I do know that whenever I have noticed it actively robbing power the light flashes up. Moral of the story? You need to turn the tc off if you're really looking to jack *** it up. Lol.

Steering boxes always feel a bit "squirrely" and the drag link/tie rod setup these trucks use can also have a bit of a dead spot in them.

That's why 1/2 ton trucks use a glorified car rack and pinion style. No dead spot and they feel better ... just not as durable.

LOL, Tedster9! Crystal's one of the hardest working folks on our social media team, and I'm proud to work alongside her.

She'll be back; have no fear!

I have found that the people who work for fords social media dept do a good job.
My friend was having a serious problem with her ecoboost and the dealer was just jerking her around.
She posted the issue online and the ford social media rep stepped in.
Her next trip to the dealer she was met in a professional manner, given a courtesy car, and her truck fixed under warranty after it was brought to the depts attention and someone notified the dealer to take it seriously.
I haven't needed you personally.
But if I ever do am glad you're there.

Thanks for the kudos, sky Cowboy. I'm glad to be here, as well. I usually work on our @FordService Twitter page, so it's great to be welcomed into such a tight-knit group for a few days.

Have an awesome night!

Todd
