Rim offset help for dually converted to single wheel

I have an 04 F350 crew cab long bed dually I'm making a single wheel by just putting on a regular bed and swapping to single wheel rims. I know the Dana 80 is a little wider then the front axle with the factory spacers removed but I really don't want to swap the D80 for a 10.5 so I plan to either just deal with the track width difference or possibly run a 1" spacer up front to compensate.

I will be adding a 4" suspension lift and bushwacker cut out fender flares to run either 38x13.50s or 40x13.50s. What kind of offset will I need to clear everything up front without the rears sticking out crazy far? From what I've read the rear axle will be a little less the. 2" wider on each side then the front. If I run a 1" spacer with a zero offset rim that will essentially put me at a little over -25mm offset right? I'd rather not run a spacer on a heavy truck like this but it seems like my best option. Leaning toward method rims in 17x8.5 or 17x9

Sorry I cant help, but have you consider running some of those 22.5 super singles semi wheels those trucks look bad *** with those massive wheels, that way you dont have to remove your bed, and can always machine them to accept any 22" inch tire.

If there is one thing I hate it's huge rims, and I think the super single with a dually bed look just awful. Not bashing your preference I'm just more of a 15" rim with 44s kinda guy

I have considered going with a 20" rim but only because there's a much larger tire selection for that size, which is unfortunate because I'd really like to go with 17s and 40" toyos but they're load range C in that size. The only D rated 40s for a 17" rim I see are mud grapplers which I wouldn't be completely against but it may only be a matter of time before they stop making that size/load range too.

No offence taken. I also like that look, small wheel huge tire, thats why i have my factory obs alcoas, but tire selections are hard to come by now days with all this modern truck that come with big factory wheels. Im not sure if your like me but I have always liked the look of alcoa wheels, thats why I mentioned those super singles.

I like some of the Alcoa wheels, I'm just not a fan of the large rim and no tire look especially on trucks. I have 18s on my cummins and that's really all the bigger I care to go but it just seems tire selection is so limited for anything under 20" for any tire larger then 37"
