03 f150 5.4.. on the firewall passenger side i cannot get a socket on it. Changed out the others on that side no problem...for some reason socket wont fit. Im using a 5/8. I cant see into the hole...blew it out with air for kicks. Nothing. I know i need to get a mirror but just Wanted to check and see if for some reason anything is different.

Edit..i did not remove fuel rail as it wasnt needed for the previous 3...angle still seemed same assumed it was.

 

Nothing is different. Hopefully you don't have a stripped out head on the plug or a whole bunch of crap in the hole preventing the socket from dropping all the way in. Let us know how you make out.

 

Thats what i figured.....attempted to clean around it earlier just in case.....huh...now would be a good time to have that little mirror on a stick i didnt buy cuz i would never have a use for it...

Could be a part of the rubber coil boot is seized on the plug. Make sure to give them a twist before pulling outward.
