Pedestal leak!!! Need fix should I gut or fix

My buddy's e03 is leaking oil bad from pedestal.
Probably no time to wait for the parts to fix, so he may gut it.
I'm looking for write up, but can someone help with a link please.

Thanks guys

Riffraff Diesel has great write-ups (as well as parts and prices):

This is to remove and replace the turbo. The pedestal is only a few more bolts and 2 o-rings underneath.

They were first on my list. I ordered a bunch of parts when I ordered orings and stuff.
I decided to gut the pedestal. It was $99 for rebuild or $115 for blank. It's not in the budget because I also need a new wheel because previous owner thought he didn't need to run a filter. I put a stock paper filter in when I got it but the blade was already dusted.
This truck has been a money pit since it was bought.
