Post the location and any photos of the truck for people to keep an
eye out for and the license plate numbers. Watch on Craigslist for
ones like yours. The police won't go that for just a truck sadly.
Hope you recover your truck in good shape.

I still say car thieves should have to register just like sex offenders.
with the same punishments. They should not be allow around cars or tools.

That's great....but that doesn't answer my question, it tells me you were able to spend the money for the anti-theft device and the insurance company thanked you with a discount, that only paid for YOUR device. Now answer my original question which was (stated a bit differently) wouldn't the insurance companies be better of protecting the trucks they insure from abnormally high theft stats. if they put the devises on ALL of those trucks BEFORE they where stolen? It's their gamble to lose, after all I have only two trucks to worry about being stolen...and if they are guess who pays for my loss? but they have presumably many many more trucks to worry about being stolen and guess who pays for those losses? just sayin'

Don't get me wrong, I understand what you're saying but it don't get anti-theft devises on all the insured trucks.

Thanks everyone. I am combing Craigslist as well as working with the police.

My brother's father-in-law is a detective with the police department here.

He tells me one thing that is broken here in Texas is that four hours after

the truck is reported stolen it is loaded up into the system to look for it.

But the boarder agents system does not upload the information for 48 hours.

If it is not found by the end of this week, say Monday, there is a good

chance it is in Mexico. No way for my baby ti finish her life.

Total faith in the Ravelco.

My truck has been broken in to 5-6 times now. I've lost count. They've never stolen it. I would not own a F250 in Houston w/o a Ravelco.

Makes me sick to my stomach to hear this Dom....

These trucks are so ridiculously easy to steal. A flat blade screwdriver, a set of vice grips, and the truck is gone.

Thieves rarely bother with Excursions because of the PATS, but just in case I was wrong about that, BOTH my trucks have and alarm on them (one also has Jimmi Jammers).

If you're fortunate enough to get it back, you can go visit Dorian and his boys at PSE and they'll get a ravelco installed for you.

Keep us posted on progress and please post some pics so we know what it looks like.

My dad has his Ex stolen in S. Fla. a few years back a few feet from him. He found it a few days later at a repair shop because they called and asked what they were suppose to fix on it after finding his business card inside of it. Crooks stole the truck and used it to steal big boats a common thing down there. Only reason I say that is because everything was still in there. They never bothered with the tools, phone, etc.
Hopefully you find yours!

Update and maybe good news! My truck was found in Dallas TX. It is at an impound yard. It was found with people in it but the Police stated it is dented and scratched all over. It was a routine traffic stop.Don't know if she runs and drives yet as it was brought in on a flat bed. But get this:
They did not arrest the people in the truck! I don't know why yet but the Police here in Houston are looking into that. Thanks for all the people that helped. I will post pics when I get them. Wish me luck getting my baby back.

It may not stop them but it sure will slow them down.

blows my mind, if they knew enough that it was stolen(the cops) to impound the truck that they didn't arrest the driver. maybe there is something more to the story we don't know. but still
good luck with everything, and happy you got your baby back, even though you don't get a new baby now.
