Ok 2001 CcLb 7.3 lariat with esof. Don't give jack squat about vacuum, that's not my problem I have manual locking hubs anyway. I figured it was a bad gem but here's the deal 1. Dash always has 4x4 lit up but no 4x4 at all. 2. When you unplug the position plug at the top of the tcase the light goes out. 3. I sent 12v directly to the tcase trying to spin it both ways. (With a brand new motor and relays) and it sounded like it only went about an 1/8 or 1/16 of a rotation and got stopped. Could it not be a bad gem and be the tcase internals itself. And if so, will any manual tcase off a 99-03 super duty work regardless of its manual or auto trans? (Some thing I left out was when you leave the switch in 2wd it makes the tcase try to shift but nothing happens, I leave it in 4hi to not burn my motor up)
