My Best Friend
old thread, but i thought id bring it back. Econos do not get the love they deserve compared to their cuzn the F-series cowboy beds.
1992 ford E250 extended super 300 inline 6.
Had her for 10 Years and she has been my best friend! purchased her for $400 with rod knock. I purchased a 70k 300 inline 6 with top half rebuilt for $400 and this beast has taken very very good care of me and my family even being i neglected her badly do to hard times. I decided that i will spend my life with this truck so I have started to restore and customize it to my needs, and liking. Nothing super special just presentable, tough, and dependable and fun!

Not a classic by any means but I think its still pretty cool. It's suffering from bad ignition coils, but new ones have been ordered and will be here by mid week.
I picked it up about 7 years ago when the truck I was using to tow the camper got too small to do the job - not enough room for the family or ponies to handle the hills. It's quite possibly one of the best tow vehicles I've had.
