some good stick shift van pics posted on here if you keep looking. had the idea of a 460 /ZF in my 86 shorty van project but they aren't a quick shifter, just damn strong!

460 ZF Dana 60 front in an E350 ..................very cool nice set of Drange 8ply 35s on it and you could still trailer haul on 4.10s .

I think 35s would be too much for my needs, that 285s would suffice just fine. Unless 35s fit with 4"s lol. And I need better economy being a daily.

My Best Friend

old thread, but i thought id bring it back. Econos do not get the love they deserve compared to their cuzn the F-series cowboy beds.

1992 ford E250 extended super 300 inline 6.
Had her for 10 Years and she has been my best friend! purchased her for $400 with rod knock. I purchased a 70k 300 inline 6 with top half rebuilt for $400 and this beast has taken very very good care of me and my family even being i neglected her badly do to hard times. I decided that i will spend my life with this truck so I have started to restore and customize it to my needs, and liking. Nothing super special just presentable, tough, and dependable and fun!Name: 20170306_163914.jpg

Not a classic by any means but I think its still pretty cool. It's suffering from bad ignition coils, but new ones have been ordered and will be here by mid week.

I picked it up about 7 years ago when the truck I was using to tow the camper got too small to do the job - not enough room for the family or ponies to handle the hills. It's quite possibly one of the best tow vehicles I've had.

Mines done daily driver duty a time or two over the years when other vehicles have been down. It may not be the most fuel efficient thing on the road, but it still does better than what most people would think.

Those are the.most recent addition to the van. My wife is short and has RA in her hips. Getting in and out was becoming painful so I had to come up with something. I was at a self service parts yard when I stumbled across a twin to my van just sitting there with those running boards. They've got some dents and dings, bit for $17 per side for DeeZee boards, I'm not complaining.
