2011 Ranger

Hi all -

Haven't been around the forum in a few years, and couldn't even remember my old account, so had to make a new one.

I have a 2011 ranger XLT, 2wd, 2.3l auto, 40k miles, extra cab, alloy wheels & tow pkg. It's the 4th Ranger I've had, and the nicest one by far. Also the first one I didn't have to fix anything on!

It's got just one problem - It's too small. I need a bigger truck now - I have to be able to carry passengers. You just can't put adults into jump seats for any appreciable distance...

I've been a Ranger fan for a long time, and kept this truck super clean cause I figured there weren't going to be any more new Rangers. It's a _really_ nice bone stock truck. I added Ford OEM step rails and a TruXedo Deuce tonneau. It's been my personal vehicle, not a work truck, although I do haul stuff in it from time to time.

What I'm wondering is this: I was thinking that maybe another Ranger enthusiast should get and appreciate this truck. Do you guys think that even matters? Is there much demand for late model Rangers?

I overpaid for a 2011 Ford Ranger 4.0 4x4 xlt ... I (expletive deleted) love that thing ... TAFFR shout out. it's torn apart in the shop and I'm putting light harnesses and an extra battery in the bed to run a lot of lights, inverter & radios ... it's a MAX two person adventure truck in the making ... been a lot of work saving the frame from the rust ... still have yours?

I’m looking for a nice low mileage 2005-2011 preferably a 2.3L Automatic.

I’ve had a 1988 1998 2000 & 2005.
I love my current 2020 POWER

Are all 3.0L : gas hogs & weak as a kitten like my old one was ?

I bought a new 2011 ranger the last day of 2011. Like a dummy I traded it in about 4 ears back for a bigger truck that quit on me and cost too much to fix. Mine was the extended cab and It was a great truck. I wish I never got rid of it
