4 spd auto tranny

is there a 4 spd o.d tranny that will bolt up to my 1970 390 right now there is a c6 out of a car which bolts up but the shift linkage is off.

I'm not aware of any 4sp auto that has the FE bell pattern. If by chance someone out there knows of one, I would love to hear from you

It's an expensive proposition.

And then you have to buy a trans. The AOD was a troublesome trans, so later models are the ones to look for. '88 to '93, from a truck or V8.

You mention a C6--3 speed, no od, no lockup. You can fix he shift arm. Cars are up, trucks are down. IIRC you have to pull the valve body to flip it.
