r2millers, how do you like those led scare lights? Any night time pics of those? I was looking to replace mine with led seeing that I mostly boon-dock now running off solar and batteries.
X2 on quality of light though your photo was day time and you can see it I'm curious how bright it will be at night.
So after camping a few times and always checking out others rigs, I'm interested in installing LED lights under my stairs. Most if not all the really new units have those anyone add those to a older unit and what did you use?
You have to remember anytime you have light near a door there will be those pesky nighttime flying bugs just waiting to enter. I always like the solar light just placed under the steps just to slightly highlight the steps without attracting excessive bugs.

Your right I just figured they are attracted to the light not necessarily opening on the door. I just like it at night when everyone sleeping and when or the need to step out instead of actual outside light too bright just little light under the stairs. Any photos of what you got or you mean those solar lights you stick in the ground?

I'm amazed at how bright these led's work for the outside fixtures.
The day pictures are so deceptive but at night, they work equally or better than the incandescent.
I didn't take any night time pictures yet but will the next time out.
I'd recommend the change, especially at approx 1/10th the wattage.
