Please visit us in Canada. We'd love to see you, but please don't bring your guns.
We rely on the RCMP for people-shooting and they seem to be damned good at it.

Nice to know that so many people with anger management issues, and a few paranoid delusions, are so well armed when out and about.

Actually the good news is, I WASN'T paranoid all these years.

The bad news is, all my worst fears are coming true.

Canada is nice and all, but you guys have NO CLUE what we have to put up with. Good try, though. "Paranoid delusions" indeed.

Oh, yes we have a clue. You call it a constitutional right to shoot people; We call it gun masturbation. Are you killing someone? Or are you masturbating?

Exhibit A.

You have NO CLUE. Please, remove yourself from the conversation, it doesn't concern you.

Thanks!

Why do you feel the need to intrude on a conversation or discussion that does not pertain to you in any manner, further, in such a juvenile and immature fashion?

You accuse others of wanting to kill people, masturbation, wanting to kill you, etc. Suggest you seek out some sort of professional counseling?

Whoa whoa whoa, hold on fellas, don't take this thread in the wrong direction. We're talking about where you have it in the truck.

That does seem like a good idea. I was thinking maybe one mounted to the front of the seat, (or the side of your left handed).

Most folks are wrong to think it a constitutional right. The document merely affirms that we have that right and many others granted to us by God.

In the context of the Bill of Rights absolutely by definition (and regardless of belief, or not, in God) it recognizes that those rights actually predate the government, i.e. they existed prior to the formation of the United States.

Radom is my copilot, but now that Fall approaches, my 4566 will see a little sunshine.
The Constitution is clear. The Founding Fathers used a dictionary to precisely pick the wording as to prevent the meaning being misconstrued, but there will always be those that wish to reinterpret for their own agenda. Read the Federalist Papers and enlighten yourself. Responsible people do not instantly become irresponsible due to an object in their hand. The constant false flag arguments that any lessening of the heavy restrictions on gun ownership will lead to OK Corral fighting in the streets never come to fruition. Here in NC they finally allow CC holders to carry into a restaurant or bar as long as they don't drink, and the pundits were losing their collective minds that all of a sudden every little slight between two people would end up in a shoot out. A childish view of the world, IMHO. CC holders account for a very tiny fraction of all the murders out there, yet that's who you are going to be afraid of? I know people that have successfully defended themselves simply by showing their weapon. There are no stat's on those events. Don't like guns? Simple. Don't own one. I carry because a cop is too heavy.

True. We could argue about gun laws until the end of time and get nowhere doing it.

I keep a micro nine in my pocket, which is a rather crummy place to have it while I'm driving. I'll probably grab one of those itty bitty .380s and wear it in an ankle holster for driving and when I need something that's really out of the way.

On the other end of the spectrum, I've always wanted a coach gun to keep behind the seat.

Germany + gun in the car on the seat = For me that would be a dream When I go to the shooting range I have to carry my weapons in a locked box.
