Putting econoline body on 99 f250 frame

Ok I have a 99 f250 4x4 diesel. I also have a 2004 e350 diesel. I'm wanting to put the van body on the truck frame. So I have had a 99 e350 with 7.3 and know there is no space under the hood. I was thinking of body blocking 2 inches afterburner relocate van body for more clearance since the superduty has intercooler piping. Besides body mounts and steering is there anything else besides electronics that would make this project worse than doing an leaf sprung front axle under the van. If anyone has any suggestions or has done a project similar or any insight that would help that would be great.

Isn't the E track much wider than the F track?

Plus, the engine, transmission, differential is off center about 6 inches to the right (passengers side)

Anything can be done, with a lot of fabrication and hit and miss.......

The truck frame is entirely different animal. You've got frame width, track width, wheel base, steering box location and orientation, engine/transmission location and set back and a whole lot of other differences.

I think you'd be better off just swapping over all the drivetrain and suspension parts from the truck frame to the van frame. It will still take some modifications and some fabrication but it's a whole lot simpler then then the body swap.

this is exactly what bodylifts are for!
you are making the van big without any suspension mods.
wheelbase should be your only concern and Superduty chassis' are modular, wheelbase mods are pretty straightforward.

I think you are right on track.
