New door seals, now hard to shut
Just put new door seal weather stripping in my '92. Before the doors shut really easy but the stripping was just old and squashed. Now with the new seals, you have to really shut the door harder and the door itself sticks out a little bit. I already adjusted the strikers to best position possible. Does it just take time and if so how long? Any tricks?
Thanks

I think the aftermarket seals are just not made quite right. I ordered seals from JBG and had the same problem. I had to slam the door to get it to close. It wasnt just that they didn't work on one truck but also tried them on another with the same result. Ordered a set from LMC and they worked fine: different manufacturer sources, I guess.

I replaced mine about 6 months ago & shifted the latch posts right outward to allow the doors to close; even then I needed to shut them pretty firmly........they have improved a lot now, but I haven't shifted the posts back inwards yet.
I noticed that part of the cause is just that the air in the cab can't escape as the doors are shut the way it could with the old seals, so it makes the problem worse; if the windows/floor vents are open, the doors close easier.
Yours will improve.
