Unidentifiable Part found in the valley of my 7.3

Sorry to bother you guys my truck broke down "no start" my guess ipr and since I was going to be working in the area I figured I would reseal the Hpop, Fuel Bowl , turbo pedestal Orings etc. when I got everything out and cleaning up the oil mess I found this piece down on the bottom.

I have no clue what it goes to
Any input would be greatly appreciated

Looks like it has a set screw on the side, allen wrench type perhaps.

I looked over my rig and can't find anything in or around the valley that compares.

Is this perhaps magnetic?? If it is, they pushed MPG in aftermarket worlds by bolting on a fixture like this to a fuel line. Long shot but maybe the PO believed in witch craft.

If you study the lines to the hpop can you detect an indent in a line where a set screw would have left its mark.

I'm saying longshot here??!!

maybe it was used as a spacer to keep the passenger side fuel line from rubbing a hole in itself?

Looks like someone left a tool behind, rather than trying to retrieve it......

I am not sure what it is?? But I am 99.9% sure it isn't a part to the truck! I have had the top of my motor apart a few times and never seen anything like that.

I stripped my engine down to this, plus I installed that T500:

I have never seen that part or anything like it... my money says "oops".
