That means the airbag module has loss connection to the passenger airbag. Take a look under the passenger seat for a 2-wire connector (sometimes white tipped) and make sure it's plugged in tight.
I had my airbag light on for two years. The dealer charged my $70 to tell me it would cost me $325.00 to get it repaired. After I read this post I looked under the passenger seat and there it was, a loose cable. I put it back in place. No more airbag light.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o> <o></o> Thank you alloro!!<o></o>
My air bag light blinks twice, then 5 times. it repeats this several times before remaining on. It might blink 3 times, then 5 times. But I am sure of the 5 times it blinks in the sequence. What does this mean? I checked the plug underneath the passenger seat. I unplugged it and replugged it, but that wasn't it. I am assuming the # of times of the blinking is a clue to what the problem is. THANKS!
passenger airbag deactivation switch/module(PAD) fault. not sure on what to replace/repair though. i find it odd because we don't have a deactivation switch on these 03-06 expeditions.
I just checked the sequence again. It repeats the sequence 5 times, not 3 times. so it's 2 flashes, pause 5 flashes, and does this sequence 5 times. Now maybe this will make sense!
Instead of a 2 and a 5 (code 25), could it be a 5 then a 2 for a code 52...Lost battery feed or low battery? This could mean that one of your airbag system fuses has blown.
no, definitely a 2 then a 5. I've had all kind of things happen here recently. I'm going to take it to an advanced auto parts here at lunch and have them hook it up to the computer to see if it pops up a different code or if something else comes up. any other thoughts on what to do?
