2002 f150 supercrew airbag light

Looking to see how to repair my blinking light. Code reads a 27, most what I've read says it's a PAD light, which this truck does not have. It HAS been in an accident, both airbags deployed. Since then both seat belts & bags have been replaced, nothing else. Thanks in advance!

That in itself will cause the LFC 27.

Supercrews do not have the on/off option. Correct? How could it throw the code about a light when there isn't a light?

Without the switch, is it possible to be something else ?

Possible Causes of code 27

A PAD warning lamp inoperative fault could be caused by:

l an open or short to ground on circuit 1113 (Y/LG).

l a damaged or burned out PAD indicator.

l a damaged or inoperative PAD switch.

l a damaged or inoperative RCM.

l a blown PAD switch I/P Fuse 22 (7.5 A).

l an RCM internal concern.

Since, as he pointed out, the SCREW doesn't have a PAD switch or light and the truck has been in an incident where the airbags deployed, I'd assume that the SRS module was either replaced with the wrong one or was "reset" improperly and the module, as currently configured and installed, doesn't "know" that its now in a SCREW so it's looking for a circuit that isn't there.

Investigate the repair that was done, there was likely a mistake made. If the SRS module wasn't replaced (or properly reset), that would be a big one.

The module has not been replaced. I do have a different one from a non wrecked, same year vehicle. Throws the same code.
