my search for my old 1967 ford truck

hello all, I have decided to try and find my old 67 truck, why? I have no idea! :-) but I gave all the info to the person I sold it to, dumb move I know as its been since 1983 and I don't remember the vin number, I remember most of the particulars, 1967 two tone, arcadian blue with a cream cab 2wd, 352 v-8 c-6 auto on the column custom cab. I wonder if its even still on the road? it had nearly 300,000 miles on it when I sold it in 1983, I wonder if junkyards keep vin numbers? thanks for reading, any ideas?

Most DMV's will have all your past vehicle VINs on record. You might even be able to find it on their website for your state. Then you can have a check done to see if it's currently registered. I am not sure if they will offer the info of who, but it's worth a shot

That a truck that had three hundred grand on the clock 32 years ago would still be on the road seems unlikely. It would be marvelous to find, though.

coasta, l it was in great shape when I sold it, it ran like a top and the paint was nearly original and I always got comments on how it looked so good, if someone wanted to fully restore it that wouldn't be too hard. though the last time I saw it 4 years after selling it, it had gone downhill some.
