The rear wheel well liners seemed to be quite popular on the 2009-2014 trucks. I bought em and love them. They do a nice job of deflecting rocks and unwanted debris up into the wheel wells.

I put them on our 2015, and even though they're not (maybe) necessary for the aluminum body, they make a big difference in appearance if your truck is a lighter color (silver, white, etc.).

I'm starting to consider them, may keep the snow slush and salt out of places that could cause problems.
