No one has an idea of your problem statement "my oil pressure and temp gauges don't work right" meaning. No advice to give based on the broad interpretation of "don't work right".
Please clarify your issue(s).

you do not have "gauges" in your truck, you have glorified idiot lights.

as long as you have around 7 psi or more oil pressure the oil gauge will read good.

temp will either read green or in the red.

to know what is really going on put a set of mechanical gauges under the dash.

Were the sensors bad? Did you ground out the wire and check to see if the gauge pegged out? If the gauge is bad go get replacement from the junkyard or replace them with aftermarket. Don't have my '94 here to look at it...are those two gauges on the same panel?

Gauging the problem...
If you have two gauges failing at the same time chances are the voltage regulator on the instrument cluster is the culprit. It is also possible a loose connection or crack on the printed circuit may also be the cause.
