September'S Fall BS

It's time for some hunting. I have a few doves feeding on the strips I made through my bottoms. I wish I had more but my tractor was down so I couldn't do enough to my field.

I think my doves found better food. I didn't see any this morning. I may just set on my pond late every afternoon. I had plenty of a weed called goat weed. If I'd got it cut down 2 weeks ago I would have a hill covered with doves. I've had several good hunts on my place. THe first reverse shift fork broke on my tractor. If I had it I would cut strips through the goat weed & I would have doves. They like it but they like to land on clear ground.

Good morning Louisiana, happy Hump Day!

Robert, I'm ready for the regular season also. And the start of college football tomorrow night!

Howard, good luck with the dove hunt!

Howard what brand tractor do you have? Just put my 47Hp LS in the shop because it is jumping out of reverse.

I need to ride around and look for doves. I have several recently cut corn fields I can hunt. If you have water they will be there in the evenings

I have a Long 460. It has the first reverse shift fork broken. I have to break it in half to change the fork. I only have to spread the cases about 3 inches but every line & linkage has to be taken apart.. I have it locked in first to load it on the trailer. I have the part I just need time to do it.
