Just bought this old truck!

Got a call at work today, a friends neighbor has old ford truck she wants to get rid of, he says he thinks it's a 55 like the one I'm working on except it has dual rear wheels, I said I'll swing by after work. It's missing the doors, hood, front fenders. No bed, looks like it must of had a dump bed, looks like PTO shaft coming to the rear. Forgot my camera at work, had to use my cell phone. Motor was covered with tarp, I'll get more info and pictures when I get it home. I asked her how much, she said how's $100.00 sound, I said sold!

Not sure what engine,it was covered with tarp, didn't want to disturb anything in such confined space if you know what I mean. not sure what was offered that year, not sure what year it is, there was no ID tag on glove box door, it is a slant cab. I'll be able to find out more when I look at the VIN.

I'm not sure of the year cutoff, but that one might have a T-98 tranny in it. Be sure to share the pictures after you get the tree out of it.

I had a guy give me a ****** Jeep once that had a tree growing through it, smarta$$ told me I couldn't cut the tree. Took a torch and cut out a section of the frame and body to remove it, guy just stood there shaking his head.

Nice score indeed! I have two doors and a hood off a 1953 F500 available for sale if you want them. Door bottoms are rotten but they're easily repairable with available patch panels. Hood is nice, except needs some minor surgery up front. PM me if you want to chat about the parts.
