P1151 code.

A few days days ago I noticed a check engine light and pulled an 1151 code. The truck runs great, like it always does. It's a '99 Eddie Bauer 5.0 with 275K. I turned the code off and a day later it came on again with no difference in the running. Anyone have an idea? Thanks

Probably a lazy O2 sensor. Did you bother to google the fault code?

Before coming to the forum and wasting your time. Try a search next time. Here is the link to what it is, possible causes, etc etc. http://www.obd-codes.com/p1151-ford

I read that and it gave me a bunch things to check. I thought maybe someone had the same problem and could lead me in one direction.

If it gave you a bunch of things to check, have you checked any of them?

Try checking out the issues. Report back your findings.

Closure, I hope. I've been driving for two days with no codes. I changed the upstream drivers side O2 sensor.
