I leave it up to the seller although this is probably not the cheapest
option I don't know how else to arrange it.

This is a pertinate thread as I am about to buy all the bits needed
to replace the leaking turbo pedestal. At the current exchange rate
this is going to be quite expensive and the freight will probably cost
more than half the cost of the parts.

Mate $200 for that lot, that's ridiculous!!!

I have been quoted $225 to freight an alternator here from
the U.S. and that has to weigh a hundred times what your
wiper parts weigh.

Some body is trying to rip you off badly on freight costs.

Doesn't sound right on the shipping costs.
It depends where I am purchasing parts from, and what they are.

If its through Amazon/ebay etc. the freight prices they quote for international shipping are usually pretty good.
If I'm buying from an individual person, I use this: International Shipping, International Courier Parcel Delivery Services Company, Overseas Shipping Service (allows them to print a shipping label - paying a discounted shipping rate).
I've heard good reviews for this service: https://www.viabox.com/ - but not used it myself (creates an address in the US, and they forward on your parcels)
For larger items (wheels/tyres etc.) I've used Foytt : Foytt Shipping and Freight - Cars Boats shipped from USA to Australia and New Zealand - and would recommend them strongly.

For the wiper arms, are you buying them from fordparts.com ? If you give Tousley Ford a call on 1-651-484-8888, they are usually very competitive with parts prices and shipping costs.

^^^ i second that, if you call or go to this site AutoNation Ford White Bear Lake | Parts & Accessories they have always been reasonable with the freight prices and their service/warranty.

You could also try LMC
