Can it be that I'm the only one who still has to look around the steering wheel when inserting the key? I've had my '09 XLS for almost 7 years and this is a regular thing.

That's good.

Me too! Sometimes the key doesn't want to in till I turn the steering wheel, then I can't turn the key till I turn the steering wheel again.

Would not make a good "get away" car for a robbery!

I drive for a local ford dealer and always have to look every time, even on the one I have owned for 6 years.

May depend on one's physical attributes as well.
