slide out problem

Hi,

To enable the slide-out to extend the emergency brake pedal has to be pushed down, which causes the brake light to light up. I now have difficulty in getting the light to go on, and unless it is the slide-out will not extend. I am having to "push/release " several times b4 the light stays on.

Please help............Thanks

Try pushing the connector on it down to make good contact. there is a possibility of a broken wire in the housing also. If the connector is tght and wires good make sure the contacts are clean and bright.

Thanks for the suggestion. I assume the connector to be the one adjacent to the emerge. brake pedal. Being 13 yrs old perhaps some rust might be a factor too.

could be as a good ground is needed for everything to work. Might want to check for such if there is some rust in the area.
