Pretty much. You will probably want 2 torque wrenches if possible. One for the smaller bolts and one for the big. A feeler gauge set would probably be good to check ring gaps but if your machinist matched your new rings to the cylinders then it's probably net nessecary. Plastigauge to check the bottom end. And a ring compressor. Are you doing the heads yourself or did you get the machine shop to deal with them? Also are you doing your injector cups while your in there as well?

If you are rebuilding your engine or heads, always install new injector cups.

pgg00, his engine guy backed out, so it looks like he's back to doing it himself.

Adam, for what it might be worth, here is kind of a basic 7.3L assembly guide:

I was toying early with the cheapo scanner left by the previous mechanic (I have AE for Chrysler,Ford, Chevy) and the dam thing worked on my Mule came with a lot of not to good codes concerning oil pressure.
Here they are:
P1280 ICP sensor circuit low (I unplugged it some time ago might be a fluke)
P1282 excessive ICPressure
P0344 CPS A circuit intermittent (I unplugged it with out unplugging the battery and has a brand new IH CPS)
P1212 ICP not at expected level
P1278 Cyl 8. High to low side open
So it all point to either bad O rings on injectors or bad IPR rings.
Symptoms I'm having surging idle, lost power and what appears to be a cylinder misfire.
What do you guys think?

Forgot to add a pic of the scanner

Not yet, sucks being low on funds... I had to spend a small fortune on brakes, rotors, and brake accessories for the wife's Excursion. Maybe next year with tax season lol... The truck still kicking, its my daily right now as my work truck is down.

Maybe you can get those codes figured out and put another 200k on it before the rebuild
