The RUBY Build--Red Means FAST!!

Most of you on here know Ruby and the slow process of upgrading she's been through. I am not doing anything new or groundbreaking here, and it's been done a bunch of times to other OBSs... but she's headed down to the Hill Country of Texas next week to get the special wrenching touch of Travis and myself for a CX Racing Intercooler, Rosewood Stage 1 injectors, and a TE T500 from Joey.

My goal with this truck has always been reliability above performance, but the two can't really be separated in my opinion. I'll document as much as I can and try to give real world data on improvements, or lack thereof, from before and after numbers. Hopefully this thread might add a little something to all of the other threads done on these installs. If anything, you'll see lots of photos of Shiner, grease, oil, and O-Rings....and a capture of Tatsch somewhere in there. Rock on!!

Better be some pics of Bar-B-Q too!
Good luck and have fun.
Should we start taking bets now on how long you go before upgrading your turbo? =)

That Texan has been sparse. The least he can do is help you give some love to Ruby! Looking forward to the pics. You're going to love it!

Thanks Nick! Getting pretty amped on this build. It's mild and been done, but not for me yet! I like that I am doing it myself with the the help of fellow FTE dudes too. That makes it all the better.
