Welcome to FTE!!

If it's stuck, the only thing you can do is drill it.
Those don't have the old type tumblers, they are wafer tumblers.

If you can turn the switch to the on position, there is a hole at the bottom of the column. Stick a pick up in the column to press the resease pin. Then just slide it it out and throw a new one in it's place.

If you can't turn it you may have to call a locksmith. ($$)

Good Luck.

Not too sure. When I lost my keys I called a locksmith and he went at it with a cordless drill and a few other tools. I think he drilled the wafer's at the "shear line" if I remember correctly. He's the one that told me about the wafer tumblers. Sorry I couldn't help more.

Hi guys! There is actually a procedure for removing it with a key and without a key. Or if the key is broken off inside. And if you have standard or tilt steering. So let us know, or is it too late.. I hope not, because you are probably now looking for a new steering column...

This site shows how to pull the "lock cylinder" with & without the key. Type "f150" in the Model field; not "f-150".
